So much of his time as the Shepherd was about control, about controlling his feelings, his aggression. Given that Sorey isn't naturally an aggressive person, it wasn't difficult, but the emphasis that now he had to do it to keep people safe, well, that's a little harder to shake. But he's not the Shepherd anymore. And if Dezel wants it- maybe he can justify it. Maybe he can let himself go, a little bit.]
