[It's nice to have Sorey take charge for once. It helps Dezel feel less like he's... taking advantage of him somehow. He still has some body issues, not the kind you'd think; Rose forgave him long, long ago for taking control of her without her knowledge. But Dezel still feels a bit like he's unworthy, like maybe Sorey might be kissing him because he doesn't know any better.
Like it's out of pity.
But it's hard to think about that when Sorey kisses him so sweetly, when his heart is thumping so hard that Dezel can feel it through Sorey's back.]

One of them finds his hair and twists into it, though not enough to hurt; the other hand rubs at the former Shepherd's neck, echoing what the breeze had done.
